    Digital Media and Learning Competition

    Meta!Blast took part in the Digital Media and Learning Competition supported by the MacArthur Foundation. It is an annual effort designed to find and to inspire the most novel uses of new media in support of learning. The competition awards $2million annually to innovators shaping the field of digital media and learning. Meta!Blast finished in the top 50 out of 1,000 competitors.

    Meta!Blast's principal investigator, Eve Syrkin Wurtele, working closely with Director General of the National Council of Science Museums of India, Sri GS Rautela, and museologist, Anita Shah, traveld to India four times from 2010 to 2015 to spread news about biology and Meta!Blast.
